He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.

Colossians 1:28

The Jesus Lane Trust (JLT) exists because we want to see students in Cambridge graduate mature in Christ and thus prepared for a lifetime of wholehearted Christian service. Will you join us in seeking to make that vision a reality? We would so value your prayers and financial partnership.

The JLT was established in 1985 to encourage alumni and friends of the St Andrew the Great (StAG) student work to continue to pray for and give to this cause. Today the JLT and StAG continue their historic partnership with the JLT funding several full-time gospel workers serving in the StAG student work (amongst undergraduates and postgraduates). In addition, the JLT seeks to raise prayer support for this ministry.

There is a great work to be done here in Cambridge reaching out to the thousands of students in the city across Cambridge University, Anglia Ruskin University, and Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts. Many know nothing or little of Christ. The gospel workers the JLT funds have opportunities to proclaim Christ to them.

Other students are already trusting in Christ and are trying to navigate their student days for his glory. The gospel workers the JLT funds have a vital role in supporting them. We are so glad they can teach students about Christ week-by-week at student lunches, bible studies and one-to-one. They have such an important role as they come alongside individuals to pray for them, counsel them from God’s word and support them in living wholeheartedly for Jesus in the 21st century student world. We are thankful that God has worked through the ministry of JLT funded gospel workers in the lives of students to grow them in Christian maturity. Do join us in praying He would continue to do so.

Our prayer is not just that we would see students graduate mature in Christ but that they would devote themselves to a lifetime of Christian service after Cambridge. We are thankful for many stories of StAG student ministry alumni serving Christ faithfully around the world in many different spheres. We long for the StAG student ministry to continue to be a blessing far beyond Cambridge and the people who have been part of it. We would love you to pray God would use it in this way.

Students themselves cannot afford to cover the cost of the time and care invested in them. We are seeking to raise funds and prayer support to continue our work. Would you consider partnering with the student ministry at StAG through the JLT?
